The Arcs are a four piece rock combo from Athens, GA. Consisting of Kevin Lane, Ben Spraker, Brandon Reynolds, and Dave Gerow, scene veterans from bands like The Possibilities, Elf Power, Don Chambers + GOAT, The Shut-Ups, NSM, Ceiling Fan, The Vigilantes of Love, Timber, Landspeeder, and The Sunshine Fix, they have been producing enthusiastic and energetic power-pop since 2008.
Since forming, their aesthetic has always been: pop songs — rock band. Their 2016 self-released “Molt” verified this, and with their most recent effort, they do not disappoint. Recorded by Kevin Lane at Express Lane Studios in Athens, the band makes a jump in both performances and production. Stylistically, The Arcs move dely through the wistful and ethereal, barbed-wire wrapped Blow-Pops, and pure pop parfaits while maintaining their core identity of a rock band.
